Blessed Sacrament Catholic School announced that its 2026 Blessing of the Animals will take place Friday, October 23, at 2:30 p.m., according to the school’s October 12 announcement.
The school said students may bring a picture of a pet or a stuffed animal, and parents may bring pets to the prayer service. Animals must be on a leash or in a traveling crate or cage, the announcement said.
Parents may check out their students after the prayer service without penalty, according to the school. The announcement did not specify a cost or a contact for the event.
